Radville-Laurier Regional Park

                            Radville-Laurier Regional Park

Location:

Adjacent to the Town of Radville among a mature well treed area and within walking distance to many amenities in town, 605 Main St. (behind the rink).  The park is open from May to October for camping.  Park entry: $10/day

History:

The park was first built in 1965 and named the Radville-Laurier Regional Park in 1975, as a joint venture between the Town of Radville and the RM of Laurier. The park is completely man made and  improvements are continuously being made.

Services:

The park has no concession or diner, however the Town of Radville has many services including gas stations, grocery stores, museums, hospital, RCMP, restaurants and more, all within walking distance from the regional park. It is a favorite spot for local hunters to set up camp as there is good pheasant, deer, upland game and duck hunting in the area.  The Robertdale Golf Course, Radville dam and boat launch is located 2 km away and is great for fishing.

Campgrounds:

There are 12 electrical sites that rent for $20.00/day, $100/week or $350/month. The park also offers 30 non-electrical sites at $10/night. A dining shelter with picnic tables is available for use. All the sites are naturally leveled and set amid a heavily treed area. The many tall elms and poplars provide constant shade from almost every direction, and yet they don’t interfere with the sites such that one cannot maneuver a large unit.  Firewood is not provided. Modern washroom facilities are available with flush toilets and free shower.  These facilities remain open 24 hours/day for campers.  Sewer dump station is located one block from the campground on Peterson Avenue.

The new Radius Credit Union Full service campground opening in July 2024 will have up to 50amp electrical. Cost on these sites will be $50.00/day, $300/week or $900.00/month.

Outdoor Swimming Pool:

Radville Laurier Recreation Facilities Upgrade Project Committee is excited to announce that the new swimming pool facility and campground opened July 1, 2024.
Work continues on the project and final touches on the swimming pool and campground will be completed during the summer months.  Upgrades to the Recreation Centre including renovations to dressing rooms, upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems, building of a new ice resurfacing room and turning the existing ice resurfacing room into a dressing room are underway. Work will proceed until the ice in season begins in the fall of 2024, at which time the facility will be operational. The final stage of the project will resume in the spring of 2025 and be fully completed by September 30, 2025.
Radville Laurier Recreation Facilities Upgrade Project would like to thank the Government of Saskatchewan and the Government of Canada for providing $2.5 million towards this project through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program and to the many sponsors and donors who have contributed to this project to date. Without your contributions and investment into our facilities this project would not have become a reality.

Playground:

The playground relocation and upgrade is still underway and will be completed by the fall of 2024.

Robertdale Golf course:

Located just outside the Town of Radville (off of Highway 377, travel one mile west and turn north one mile) is a 9 hole, sand-green golf course. The Robertdale Gold and Country Club is so named to honor A.R. Robertson, who devoted much of his time to the park and the golf course. The course is a par 35 that covers 2830 yards over its well-treed fairways and watered tees. The course hosts several tournaments throughout the summer. The clubhouse has washroom facilities and the bar is  available during tournaments.  Tee off reservations are not necessary as this is a friendly course; simply show up and you’ll be on the first tee before you know it!
